What an elegant album! Very tight musical identity from start to finish, evoking the autumn forest. Great and accurate use of sound samples: one can make a good list of species just by listening to this work.

Another one of those bands whose music is impossible to fit under a simple label or tag, as it's a masterful blend of so many styles with lots of emotions. A bit like "An Abstract Illusion", one of those unique blends, folk, depressive, second wave, and atmospheric black metal styles into an exploratory whole, "the sum greater than its elements combined" kind of art... but it's the end result that counts, and I really liked it. Took a few listens and open-mindedness though.
